So you wanna be a champion?
You realise it takes a lot of hard work, dedication, sacrifice & pain right?

If you are still interested, come & see Mat about getting ready to compete in either Amateur or Professional Muaythai. Mat has worked hard developing a strong gym of fighters. With 11 prestigious titles hanging from the walls, fighters competing around the state, the country and overseas, you can be sure of being amongst a great team.

All the Sor.Naksoo fighters follow a rigorous training regime, 6 days a week. Running, skipping, shadow boxing, bag work, pad work, sparring and grappling will take the fighter around 3 hours to do. So you will get an un-beatable fitness workout, but you will be honed into a fighting machine. We train exactly the same way as the gyms back in Thailand, and Mat imparts his huge knowledge from living and training in the Mother country. Some people find they want to test themself in the ultimate way; a full-contact Muaythai bout. At G.V Martial Arts we have developed many title holding champions & a score of winners. We offer a no-nonsense, hard working approach to Muaythai fight training, using traditional training methods used in many of the top gyms in Australia and Thailand.

Sor.Naksoo is the name of the full-contact side of G.V Martial Arts. Sor.Naksoo. Taken from Thai, 'Nak Soo' means 'Fighter,' or 'Fighting Spirit.' The Sor at the start is a representative letter for TIGER, as all the fighters from Sor.Naksoo are known for their fighting spirit and tiger-like tenacity.

Mat Reid is the head trainer of Muaythai at G.V Martial Arts. He has had 26 professional Muaythai fights, competing around Australia & Thailand. Mat has won such titles at WMC Victorian Champion, WKBF East Coast Champion, Bangla Stadium Champion & IFMA World Championships Silver Medallist. Mat has trained at some of the best gyms in Australia & Thailand, notably Tor.Saengtiennoi Thailand, Sor.Jaiphet in Melbourne, Ben Hamilton Muaythai, Sityodtong Thailand and Town In Town 2 Thailand. Mat lives and breathes Muaythai and can help you achieve your goals in the sport he loves.

We also bring over former WMC World Champion & Lumpinee Stadium Champion, Khru Nuengpichit Sityodtong from Thailand to help Mat improve the fighters. Khru Nueng is usually here a couple of times a year.

So if you want to be the next state champion, or even Australian Champion, then get out on the road and start running...
